Jon Kabat-Zinn, PhD, is internationally known for his work as a scientist, writer, and meditation teacher engaged in bringing mindfulness into the mainstream of medicine and society. He is professor of medicine emeritus at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and author of numerous books.
In Wherever You Go, There You Are he maps out a simple path for cultivating mindfulness in one's own life. This book speaks both to those coming to meditation for the first time and to longtime practitioners, anyone who cares deeply about reclaiming the richness of his or her moments.
In your thrid Module you'll commit to daily movement to increase energy, release stress, focus your mind and love your beautiful body!
Strength, Core, Balance & Stretch it out!
One of the most powerful ways to take care of yourself is strengthening and stretching your core. If your core isn't strong enough you're much more likely to injure yourself or experience chronic pain, especially in the low back.
In this module you'll start each day (or at least 2-3 days a week) with a 20-30 minute fire & flow core video practice with me, that ends with your morning meditation. This practice will energize you, wake you up, make you feel strong, sexy, confident, and ready to take on the world! You'll also have 10x more mental focus and presence throughout your day, as well as increased physical endurance and energy.
Then, at the end of the day, in lieu of yoga nidra, you'll practice a 30-40 minute deep stretch & release video followed by a full body relaxation, to let go and release any stress or tension that accumulates throughout the day and week. If you think yoga nidra is amazing, wait till you do this practice! Combining a full body relaxation with deep stretching is guaranteed to give you a good night's sleep.

In your fourth Module you'll practice paying mindful and curious attention to what, why and how you eat.
Now that you’re moving your body, pay attention to your eating habits. Do you eat? Or do you skip breakfast or other meals? What we put in our bodies is as important as moving our bodies.
One Bite (or Sip) at a Time
Mindful eating involves paying full attention to the experience of eating and drinking, both inside and outside the body.
We pay attention to the colors, smells, textures, flavors, temperatures, and even the sounds (crunch!) of our food.
We pay attention to the experience of the body. Where in the body do we feel hunger? Where do we feel satisfaction? What does half-full feel like, or three quarters full?
We also pay attention to the mind.
While avoiding judgement or criticism, we watch when the mind gets distracted, pulling away from full attention to what we are eating or drinking.
We watch the impulses that arise after we've taken a few sips or bites: to grab a book, to turn on the TV, to call someone on our cell phone, or to do web search on some interesting subject.
We notice the impulse and return to just eating.
We notice how eating affects our mood and how our emotions like anxiety influence our eating. Gradually we regain the sense of ease and freedom with eating that we had in childhood. It is our natural birthright.
The old habits of eating and not paying attention are not easy to change. Don't try to make drastic changes. Lasting change takes time, and is built on many small changes.
We start simply. One bite (or sip) at a time
In this Moduel I'll guide you through simple mindful eating practices to bring more attention (with compassion and curiosity) to what, how, when, and why you eat.
In this book Pema Chödrön shows us how to break free of destructive patterns in our lives and experience a new sense of freedom and happiness.
Drawing on the Buddhist concept of shenpa, she helps us to see how certain habits of mind tend to “hook” us and get us stuck in states of anger, blame, self-hatred, and addiction.
The good news is that once we start to see these patterns, we can begin to change our lives for the better.
We must learn how to stay present and open our hearts.

Learn how to reframe “failure” After all if you don’t make mistakes, how can you ever learn? Often your failures are your greatest opportunities for transformation. Learn how to both forgive yourself for and grow stronger from the times you fall down.
Take some time to process all the phenomenal work you've done. Slow down. Breathe. Be.

In order for change to happen we first need to recognize the ways we (often unconsciously) hold ourselves back. This week you’ll bring awareness to, shine the light on, & practice recognizing the stories you carry and the ways in which they limit your ability to fly.
This is how you begin to build your runway for takeoff!
Release the Old Narrative
Once you recognize your limiting narrative you can begin to release it, making room for a new narrative to live your life from.
